Black Friday is mostly online this year, which means we probably won’t see many viral clips of people getting in fights over plasma screen TVs at Walmart. But that doesn’t mean the demand for those hot ticket items is any less.
Instead of fighting another person’s hand-to-hand combat style, we’ll be going against the clock to snag items before they sell out. On we saw 4K smart TVs and Instant Pots go out of stock a few times throughout the two-day event, and we expect to see even more cases of this during Black Friday.
Black Friday deals are technically running throughout all of November, but actual Black Friday (Nov. 27) will still see a much bigger audience than any other day of the month, so if you wait until then to snag the items on your wish list, just know you might be in a race against someone else at their computer.
So, get your credit cards ready to check out quickly (or better yet, just memorize your card number) because these are the products we foresee people virtually fighting over this Black Friday.
During Prime Day, Fire TV and Roku compatible TVs went out of stock multiple times throughout the event. And even in the early days of November, we’ve seen 4K TVs from different brands like LG and Samsung sell out already — especially at Target and Walmart. Don’t hold out until the last minute in hopes of a better deal, because retailers have been selling 4K TVs at their lowest Black Friday prices all month. You don’t want to miss out on getting the TV that’s been at the top of your wish list because you thought it might drop a few more bucks.
Walmart had killer deals on Instant Pots during its Prime Day event and we saw a few models go in and out of stock. Luckily, there’s a seemingly infinite number of Instant Pot models, so if the one you have your eye on sells out, there will be others to choose from — just maybe not with a comparable discount.
Apple almost never has sales on its official website, but Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy usually have some decent discounts on Apple devices. AirPods and AirPods Pro are set to hit their lowest prices ever, so it’s not unlikely for them to go out of stock. We also expect the latest Apple Watches to be big sellers this Black Friday — and since they’re so new, any price cut is a good one.
Yes, the Apple Watch Series 6 and SE are going to be the most sought after smartwatches, but they won’t be the only ones. With the release of a new model comes a higher demand for older, cheaper models. The Apple Watch Series 3 (which never seems to go away) will likely see some love this Black Friday, too. And of course, for people who are not brand loyal to Apple, Garmin and Samsung smartwatches will also be must-haves.
Dell has been running doorbuster deals on laptops that seem to be selling out before their official launch times, so you’ve got to be really speedy with these. Both gaming and non-gaming laptops are included in these sales, so anyone and everyone will be wanting to get their hands on a Dell doorbuster. Other laptop brands will probably see high numbers as well, but Dell is where the real showdown is happening.
